Creation Story

According to Genesis 1, God created the Heavens and the Earth.  God created everything in six days, and on the seventh He rested.
The earth didn't see any rain until the flood.  Instead God caused a mist to come up on the entire earth.  The earth was not as we know it now.  Instead, there was a layer of water surrounding the earth a lot like the ozone does now, only much more effective.

This caused what we know as a "green house effect."  The entire earth was the same temperature and had the same weather.  There was no polar ice caps.  In the snow in the arctics there have been entire trees found frozen in what would be similar to the fossil record.  This being found in the ice record gives credibility and even more authority to the Biblical account.

In fact, the Institute for Creation Research reported in February of 2009 that a new study has given proof that the ancient sea level was at least 70 feet higher.  Where did all the water come from?

To find the answer, I will use the idea of "global warming."  Most of these proponents of global warming are evolutionist.  However, ask them what happens if the polar ice cap melts.  We've all seen Al Gore's map of the world where he simulates what it would look like if the polar ice caps melted.

Now, remember that the polar ice caps didn't exist before the flood.  Without the polar ice cap, the ocean would be substantially higher.  Without the polar ice cap the ancient water level is explained.  The rest of the water needed for the global flood comes from the water surrounding the earth.

The flood has caused rapid layers to be formed as with many catastrophic events including the eruption of Mt. St. Helen which also caused massive layers of earth to form.  According to evolutionist this could have only been done over billions of years, yet it happened within the last 30 years in the case of Mt. St. Helen, along with an impressive fossil record already created in that as well.

The earth as we know it is 6,000 years old and was created by God through the flood.
